This site has meant the world to me over the last 30 years. I've made so many friends and have had experiences I wouldn't trade for a tank's weight in grounds gold. My first game ever was a Blobwork Orange.
Don't play it. It took like 3 attempts to get through the portal. The only way I could is by working on it more and more until it got the literal bare minimum to pass. And for a 6th grader, that was tough. Over the following years I learned how to... click on button, move to next frame, and well, that's how Second Wind came to be.
Gradually I learned more and more. But I always came back here. Cause this is where you improve yourself. To this day, it's one of the few places that if you post something, you'll have a good chance of getting comments, and when you're just starting out, that means the world.
Anyhow
May the fact that there is a place out there that to this day an artist can come and submit art and make something of themselves, no matter their skill level, keep this crazy thing we call art going strong.
If you're here, if you're reading this, thank you. For being a newgrounder. For being an artist. For being the problems of the future, today!
