GOD KEEPING SILENT ABOUT THIS FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS HAS BEEN SO HARD BUT IT LOOKS SO AMAZING!!!

This is such a lovely homage to pixel games on NG, I am so incredibly honored to have The Tiny Octopus that Nobody Likes (that is their real name) and Aine getting representation, even if the Octopus (somewhat fittingly) is blocked out on the front page (they'll get over it, they were on the last year's page anyways.) Seeing Aine just peeking out from the right today is so cool!

Also, just, holy shit the deep cuts. You have Karoshi here! You've got Duke Dashington! You've got... a bunch of birds!

I like how each and every character feels like they're in a scene together! It's like they all logged into a glitched version of alternate reality earthbound vrchat and they're just messing around. This is so incredibly beyond words because of just how ambitious and expansive it is in its attempt to capture just all that history over literal decades.

This is a very fitting piece for both this site's 30th anniversary year, and 10th anniversary of Pixel Day!
